Job summary

Athene is seeking a senior retirement plan sales leader to own the annual territory target across Apollo and Vitera defined contribution offerings. You will cultivate and convert relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper teams, turning partnerships into local adoption and executing a disciplined territory plan.

You will lead advisor education, field events, and co‑presentations with product specialists while coordinating with national colleagues to align coverage.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in retirement plan sales or equivalent experience.
• Established relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper teams.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to translate product strategy into field opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual territory sales target across Apollo and Vitera defined contribution offering.
• Build relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper field teams, converting partnerships and platform approvals into local adoption.
• Develop and execute a territory plan with priority advisors, a consistent activity cadence, pipeline milestones, and measurable sales outcomes.
• Lead advisor education, field events, and finalist presentations; bring in product specialists for depth while retaining ownership of the relationship.
• Partner with Apollo's Global Wealth field counterparts to align coverage and win together.
• Coordinate with recordkeeper partners on joint meetings, campaigns, and opportunities.
• Use CRM data, market intelligence, and AI tools to refine targeting and maintain pipeline discipline.
