Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a VP of Sales for Veterinary to own large multi-location deals from first meeting to signed contract. This is an individual contributor role focused on closing strategic veterinary groups with many locations.

You will work with inbound leads and our sales development team, manage complex multi-stakeholder negotiations, and scale wins across locations with one deal spanning the group.

Qualifications

• Proven track record closing $1M+ annually on multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling to veterinary groups or marketing/agency services to multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision-makers; not suited for high-volume, single-location or transactional sales.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close over 3–12 months.
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders to close multi-location deals.
• Drive expansion by adding locations and services after initial group win.
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership to craft proposals for high-impact deals.
