Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Vice President of Sales for Veterinary to own our largest multi-location deals, from first contact to signed contract. This is an individual contributor role with a $2M annual quota and no direct reports.

You'll close high-value engagements with veterinary groups, guided by inbound leads and a dedicated sales development team. Expect long, consultative cycles across multiple stakeholders and locations.

Qualifications

• A track record closing $1M+ yearly on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling into veterinary groups or marketing/agency services to multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision-makers.
• If your background is high-volume or single-location, this is a different role.
• Prefer candidates who would rather close business than manage people.

Responsibilities

• Own full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close over 3–12 months.
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Expand: more locations and services after a group signs.
• Collaborate on proposals with strategists and leadership for key deals.
