Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a VP of Business Development for Veterinary. You own the largest multi-location veterinary deals from first meeting to signed contract, with one win covering many locations.

You will close strategic deals while our sales development team and inbound lead the calendar. The seat involves a $2M annual quota, with no direct reports, focusing on veterinary groups and multi-clinic practices.

Qualifications

• Record of closing $1M+ annually on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Selling into veterinary groups or marketing/agency services to multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative cycles with several decision makers.
• High-volume, single-location or transactional sales experience not a fit.

Responsibilities

• The full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.
• Deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders all at the table.
• Expansion: more locations and more services once a group signs.
• Proposals built with strategists and leadership for the deals that matter most.
