Blacksmith Agency is seeking an experienced Director of Business Development for Veterinary, an AI-first digital agency serving multi-location veterinary groups. You will own the largest deals from first meeting to signed contract, coordinating with owners and marketing leaders across locations.

Responsibilities include end-to-end deal cycles lasting 3–12 months, expanding accounts to additional locations, and working with strategists on compelling proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience closing $1M+ annual deals.
• Proven track record selling to veterinary groups or multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision makers.
• Prefers closing business over managing people.

Responsibilities

• Manage full deal cycle: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close over 3–12 months.
• Sell to owners, regional operators and marketing leaders.
• Expand: sign more locations and services for multi-location groups.
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership to craft compelling proposals.
