Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Business Value Engineer to shape and articulate the value of our products and services. You will work with Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, and Observability Architects to quantify ROI and communicate tangible business impact.

In a remote-first, globally distributed environment, you’ll build models, support sales enablement, and tell compelling stories that drive adoption and revenue while maintaining Grafana's open-source roots.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in value management, consulting, or engineering.
• Ability to build quantitative analyses to identify and communicate value.
• Strong data storytelling capabilities for executive audiences.
• Experience partnering with GTM leaders to align on value propositions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to uncover opportunities for growth and profitability through storytelling.
• Develop ROI/TCO models that quantify value from new products and market trends.
• Enable pre/post sales teams through training and content development.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to craft a unified value narrative.
