Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Value Engineer based in Germany to support our customers in the region. You will drive value delivery and help unlock the full business impact of Elastic for strategic clients.

Collaborate with account teams to identify challenges, translate value into economic benefits, and lead business cases. Travel approximately 2x per month and partner with product/engineering to tailor solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in value engineering or related customer-facing roles within software/consulting.
• Advanced knowledge of value-based selling methodologies.
• Experience briefing business cases to executives.
• Fluent in German and English (business).
• Willingness to travel ~2x/month.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to identify and deliver value strategies for key accounts.
• Translate value proposition into clear economic benefits aligned with client goals.
• Lead business value reviews and build compelling business cases for opportunities.
• Analyze customer workflows to identify optimization opportunities.
• Create executive-ready documents and presentations.
• Work with product/engineering to tailor solutions for Elastic customers.
• Share best practices and drive value-based selling adoption.
• Be a SME on Elastic solutions and industry trends.
• Conduct training with teams to improve discovery and value delivery.
