Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Solutions Engineer to empower customers worldwide from a fully remote setup. You will educate potential and existing customers through demos, evaluations, and enablement, partnering with Sales to qualify and close opportunities.

The role requires listening to customer requirements, translating them into Grafana-based solutions, and collaborating with Product Management and Engineering. Expect a dynamic, open culture that values autonomy and trust.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience.
• Be open to various and complex assignments; requires judgment, collaboration, and leadership.
• First-class written and oral communication skills to collaborate with remote teams and worldwide customers.
• Ability to articulate Grafana’s value proposition and the technical advantages of our products.
• Love solving technical challenges and bring creative solutions to customers.
• Technical mindset and desire to grow technically.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sales team to articulate Grafana value proposition, vision and strategy to customers.
• Own the technical engagement with customers and help close complex opportunities through advanced knowledge and credibility.
• Deliver product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to provide feedback on products and the competitive landscape.
• Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems.
• Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, and create enablement material.
