Job summary

Exelon is seeking an engineer to develop designs and construction drawings for large utility projects across generation, transmission, distribution, and gas facilities. The role supports both internal and external customers and may require 24/7 coverage during storms.

You will apply engineering standards, coordinate with teams, and ensure safety and reliability in projects, with a focus on high voltage transmission and distribution work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience with 3+ years in technical roles.
• Associate's degree in a technical field with 5+ years in technical roles.
• 7+ years of technical experience or relevant education if non-degreed or non-technical degree.
• Ability to analyze and interpret electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of construction, operations or engineering principles and practices.
• Proficient CAD drawing and design skills.
• Valid driver's license.

• Develops construction drawings and material lists for complex utility infrastructure projects.
