Job summary

Exelon is seeking a design engineer to develop designs, layouts, construction drawings, and a bill of material for utility infrastructure installations and modifications across electric generation, transmission, and distribution projects. You will perform field engineering, coordinate with teams, interpret standards, and support New Business projects with customer-driven timelines.

This full-time on-site role requires a technical degree and strong CAD skills, with 24x7 coverage during storms as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to analyze and interpret electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proficient CAD and design skills; knowledge of standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Develops construction drawings, layouts, and BOMs for utility infrastructure projects.
• Interprets engineering standards and supports customer and company systems.
• Coordinates with teams and tracks design-related customer needs and schedules.
• Occasionally provides extended hours support during storms or emergencies.
