Job summary

Exelon is seeking an engineer to develop designs, layouts, construction drawings and BOMs for utility infrastructure projects across generation, transmission, distribution, gas and telecom facilities. The role includes field engineering and coordination with internal and external customers, with potential extended hours during storms or emergencies.

You will apply engineering standards, support New Business installations, removals and relocations, and work under a lead engineer to deliver safe,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Tech test (TECH) completion required unless exempted by engineering degree.
• Ability to analyze and interpret electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of construction, operations or engineering principles and practices.
• Proficient CAD drawing and computer-aided design skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs, layouts, construction drawings and BOMs for complex utility infrastructure projects across multiple facilities.
• Interpret and apply engineering standards and memos.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams on installations, removals and relocations.
