Job summary

Exelon Corporation is seeking an experienced engineer to develop designs, layouts, construction drawings, and BOMs for large utility projects. You will interpret standards and support internal and external customers with field engineering duties.

The role requires strong CAD skills, analytical thinking, and excellent communication. Occasional extended hours, including storm coverage, may be required as part of energy delivery operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with required experience.
• TECH test completion is required (Bachelor's degree exempts TECH test).
• Ability to analyze and interpret electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of construction, operations or engineering principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs, layouts, construction drawings, and BOMs for large projects and complex utility infrastructure.
• Interpret and apply engineering standards and memos.
• Assist with technical consultation, plan developments and customer/company recommendations.
• Evaluate design processes and participate on project teams.
