ComEd, a subsidiary of Exelon, seeks a Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives across transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT domains. You will manage scope, schedule, and budgets, and guide teams through business cases, approvals, and execution with accountability for delivering results within a multi-million dollar context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 4–7 years of project management or related experience
• CAPM certification or achieve CAPM within two years of entry; PMP certification fulfills this requirement
• Demonstrated success at managing projects and ability to work independently and as a team leader

Responsibilities

• Overall project performance accountability for transmission, substation, distribution, and gas projects (25%)
• Manage costs, schedule and scope with recovery plans to stay within approved limits (20%)
• Coordinate requirements with external and internal stakeholders (15%)
• Communicate with sponsor and stakeholders on issues including executive presentations (10%)
• Foster good relationships between project team, line managers, and interfacing organizations (10%)
• Coach and lead team members to complete tasks (10%)
• Identify and obtain project team resources (5%)
• Ensure team understands responsibilities (5%)
