Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to lead transmission, substation, distribution, gas and IT initiatives across multiple teams. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and safety performance, guiding projects from business case through closeout with budgets from 250K to 15M.

The role requires collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders at all levels, strong judgment, and the ability to work under storms or energy delivery emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 4-7 years relevant project management or related experience
• CAPM certification or achieve CAPM within two years of job entry
• Proven track record of managing projects
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader including the ability to handle conflicting priorities
• Demonstrated strong independent judgment skills
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and time management skills
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile

Responsibilities

• Oversee project performance for transmission, substation, distribution, and gas initiatives.
• Manage costs, schedule, and scope, with recovery plans when needed.
• Coordinate requirements with external and internal stakeholders.
• Communicate with sponsor and stakeholders at executive levels.
• Foster good working relationships across teams and organizations.
• Coach and lead team members to complete tasks.
• Identify and obtain project team resources.
• Clarify responsibilities of all team members.
