Job summary

Exelon is a Fortune 200 energy company seeking a Project Manager to lead or support transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT projects. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and safety performance, coordinating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes.

Extension hours may be required during storms or emergencies. Responsibilities include reporting to sponsorship, developing plans, and driving project closeout while mentoring team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 2–4 years PM experience, or HS Diploma with 3–6 years of PM or related experience
• For non-construction PM: Bachelor's in business, engineering or related field and 2–4 years PM or related experience, or HS Diploma with 3–6 years
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively and foster culture change
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader including handling conflicting priorities
• Demonstrated leadership, communications and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process enhancements and efficiencies including technology and performance
• Demonstrated strong judgment and time management skills
• Demonstrated project management skills, writing skills and PC skills including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Passport
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile

Responsibilities

• Lead or support project and program performance across transmission, substation, distribution, gas, IT and organizational initiatives
• Manage project costs, schedule, scope and risks with recovery plans
• Interface with external and internal stakeholders to coordinate project requirements
• Build strong working relationships with team members, line managers, interfacing organizations and contract providers
• Communicate with sponsor and stakeholders on project issues at executive level
• Coach and lead team members to understand responsibilities and complete tasks
• Identify and obtain project team resources with Manager PM assistance; ensure resources are identified for larger projects
