Job summary

Pickett, an ESP Associates company, is seeking a Lead Engineer to provide leadership and senior-level engineering expertise on complex utility distribution projects.

You will supervise a team of engineers, technicians and drafters, ensure client requirements, quality and deadlines, and mentor staff to achieve excellence. This hands-on, hybrid role in Austin offers opportunities to influence design, develop proposals, and build lasting relationships with clients while upholding our SOLVE values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required).
• PE certification (preferred).
• 10+ years of overhead and underground distribution engineering experience in electric utilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design and distribution equipment.
• Knowledge of CSA/IEC/NESC standards.
• Experience with PLS-CADD is a plus.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check; driving record required.
