Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. seeks a Cisco Unified Communications Engineer to design, install, support, and upgrade the UC infrastructure. The role requires strong UC and networking knowledge to work independently with minimal supervision and to assist higher tiers in complex incidents.

The candidate will monitor systems, assist with platform configuration optimization, and produce documentation for end users, peers, and management, while coordinating with telephony providers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Experience with Cisco Unified Communications or other non-Cisco collaboration platforms is required.
Hands-on experience with CUCM, CUC, CER and Cisco Unity configurations.
Familiarity with VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323, RTP) and dial plans is essential.
Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; minimum two years of hands-on UC/network experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs design, installation, support, and upgrade tasks for Cisco Unified Communications infrastructure.
Monitor UC systems and endpoints to ensure performance and uptime.
Troubleshoot VoIP and network issues; escalate as needed.
Collaborate with Network, Systems, Database, and Security teams.
Prepare technical documentation and user reports.
