Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, telecommunications, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in telecommunications engineering, UC, or voice network engineering in large environments.
• Hands-on experience designing, configuring, and supporting UC/telephony platforms incl. dial plans, call routing, voicemail, conferencing.
• Demonstrated experience monitoring and analyzing UC performance metrics with monitoring tools.
• Experience in secure federal or regulated environments and ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise UC solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Monitor performance and health of UC networks; analyze KPIs and identify bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot UC incidents, perform RCAs, and handle Tier II escalations.
• Develop runbooks and configuration baselines for UC platforms, SBCs, and gateways.
• Collaborate with network, security, infra, and service desk to plan changes and migrations.
• Produce technical reports, capacity analyses, and improvement recommendations.
• Provide training and guidance on UC capabilities to customers and internal teams.
• Support compliance with federal security, privacy, and records requirements.
