Job summary

Dell is seeking a Sr. Unified Communications Engineer to support federal customers in a secure, on-site environment. You will administer voice, telephony, and collaboration platforms, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to sustain mission-critical communications.

The role requires extensive UC experience, TS/SCI clearance, and the ability to work onsite at a secure facility in Chantilly, VA. Strong leadership and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to maintain access as required.
• Experience supporting unified communications, VoIP, telephony, or collaboration environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-support skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a secure environment.
• Experience with video, AV, conferencing, or call-management environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support voice, telephony, conferencing, or collaboration platforms.
• Troubleshoot service issues involving call quality, endpoints, connectivity, or platform configuration.
• Support implementation, upgrades, and integration of communications solutions.
• Maintain documentation, diagrams, operating procedures, and support records.
• Coordinate with network, systems, and field teams on platform dependencies and changes.
• Support user issues, service requests, and operational continuity activities.
• Contribute to testing, validation, and service improvement efforts.
• Help ensure secure, stable, and supportable communications capabilities.
• Provide reports to relevant stakeholders and participate in leadership level design and engineering decisions.
