Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in telecommunications engineering or unified communications.
• Hands-on experience with UC/telephony platforms (Cisco, Teams Phone, Avaya).
• Experience monitoring performance metrics and using monitoring tools.
• Ability to operate in secure federal or regulated environments and obtain a SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise UC solutions across on-prem and cloud.
• Monitor health of UC networks and analyze KPIs to prevent degradation.
• Troubleshoot complex UC/telecom incidents and escalate as needed.
• Document standards, runbooks, and configuration baselines for UC infrastructure.
• Collaborate with network, security, and service desk teams to plan changes and migrations.
• Provide reports and recommendations to improve UC capacity and performance.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer on UC capabilities and best practices.
