Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a senior Unified Communications Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and sustainment of enterprise voice, video, and collaboration services for federal missions from our Providence, RI area office.

You will optimize UC environments, monitor performance, and enforce security and change management while aligning with SLAs and contractual obligations. A SECRET clearance is required or may be pursued.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT/CS/Engineering.
8+ years of progressive UC/telecommunications engineering experience in enterprise or federal settings.
Hands-on experience designing, configuring, and supporting UC/telephony platforms (Cisco, Teams, Avaya).
Experience monitoring UC performance metrics using monitoring tools.
Ability to operate in secure federal environments and obtain/maintain SECRET clearance.
Strong written and verbal communication for technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain enterprise UC/telecommunications solutions across on-premise and cloud.
Monitor performance and health of UC networks, identify bottlenecks.
Troubleshoot complex UC incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
Develop standards, runbooks, and baselines for UC infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan changes and migrations.
Produce reports and guidance to inform strategic improvements.
