Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a Unified Communications Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and sustainment of enterprise voice, video, and collaboration services for federal missions.

You will monitor UC networks, analyze performance, document standards, and guide teams to ensure security and compliance with federal requirements, including eligibility for a SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in telecommunications engineering or unified communications in large enterprise or federal environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain UC/telephony solutions across on‑premise and cloud.
• Monitor UC networks, analyze KPIs, identify bottlenecks and degradation.
• Troubleshoot complex UC incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Develop standards and runbooks for UC platforms, gateways, trunks, SBCs.
• Collaborate with networks, security, and service desk teams on changes and migrations.
• Produce reports and recommendations for capacity and performance improvements.
• Provide training and guidance on UC capabilities and best practices.
• Support compliance with federal security, privacy, and records requirements.
