Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, telecommunications, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in telecommunications engineering or UC in large enterprises.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Microsoft Teams Phone, Avaya UC platforms.
• Experience monitoring UC performance metrics and using monitoring tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise UC solutions across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Monitor performance and health of UC networks; analyze KPIs.
• Troubleshoot complex UC incidents and escalate when needed.
• Develop standards, runbooks, and configuration baselines.
• Collaborate with network, security, infra, and service desk teams to plan changes.
• Produce technical reports and capacity analyses for improvements.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer on UC capabilities.
• Support compliance with federal security/privacy requirements.
