Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. seeks an on-site Unified Communications engineer to design, install, support, and upgrade Cisco UC infrastructure. You will troubleshoot VoIP and network issues, coordinate with service providers, and document procedures for users and peers.

The role requires hands-on UC experience, strong networking knowledge, and the ability to work with multiple teams. Banking industry compliance training will be provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field and 2+ years hands-on experience with Cisco Networking/UC or equivalent combo.

Responsibilities

Serve as liaison for unified communications issues and escalation for UC Administrator I.
Perform daily monitoring of unified communications systems and endpoints.
Assist senior staff with configuring and optimizing platform design.
Review UC systems to ensure security and reliability.
Troubleshoot VoIP and network issues to isolate root causes.
Coordinate with telephony providers on service issues.
Collaborate with Network, Systems, Database and Security teams.
Create and update Service Desk tickets for work performed.
Provide daily status updates to management as needed.
