Travelers in Alpharetta, GA seeks an Account Executive Officer (AEO), Construction Loss Sensitive, to partner with agents/brokers for coverage on new and renewal business. The role is technical, requiring independent risk assessment and relationship building to drive profitability and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Six to eight years of relevant underwriting experience with construction loss sensitive.
• CPCU designation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate complex customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal partners to create sales plans and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Foster and maintain relationships with external partners by meeting in person with agents and brokers to market and sell Travelers products; travel may be required.
• Identify and capture new business opportunities using consultative marketing and sales skills.
• Develop and execute agency sales plans and partner with MD to develop region/group sales plans.
• May assist in training and mentoring less experienced Account Executives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
