Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company in Georgia is seeking an Account Executive Officer (AEO), Construction Loss Sensitive, to partner with agents and brokers on new and renewal business based on customer needs. The role is a technical resource requiring decisive, detail-oriented leadership and strong relationship-building skills.

You will independently assess complex risk, negotiate terms, and collaborate with internal partners to drive profitability, growth, and retention while traveling as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Six to eight years of underwriting experience with construction loss sensitive.
• CPCU designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate complex customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal partners to create sales plans and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Foster and maintain relationships with external partners by meeting with agents and brokers to market and sell Travelers products; travel as needed.
• Identify and capture new business opportunities using consultative marketing and sales skills.
• Develop and execute agency sales plans with the MD to develop region/group sales plans.
• Assist in training and mentoring of less experienced Account Executives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
