Axon Enterprise is seeking a Unified Communications Integration Engineer to design, deploy, and support a highly available cloud-based UC/VoIP platform. You will work across Operations, R&D, Sales, CTO Office, and Product Managers to deliver customized communication solutions, while ensuring security, reliability, and scalability in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with VoIP architecture.
• Hands-on installation of open-source UC (Kamailio, FreeSWITCH, Asterisk).
• 3+ years deploying open-source VoIP solutions.
• 3+ years networking knowledge; OSI model mastery.
• Linux environments and bash scripting experience.
• Experience deploying on private/public clouds (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly available 911 infrastructure within the unified communications platform.
• Configure and troubleshoot Carbyne’s/UC platform cross-functional deployments.
• Provide clients with customized UC solutions and support.
• Install, maintain, integrate, and contribute to PBX/UC projects.
• Create and maintain technical specifications and solution documents.
• Onboard new customers according to requirements and best practices.
