Job summary

IES is seeking a Superintendent who ensures that all work on large projects is installed and maintained to meet Company and Customer requirements, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and project management.

You will lead project crews, coordinate with customer representatives, enforce deadlines, manage staffing, complete all paperwork, perform quality checks, serve as on-site contact, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum five (5) years in telecommunications or related technical/construction field.
• Proficient with computer and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
• Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
• Ability to define a project, create scope, estimate, and manage tasks to completion and turnover.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple project crews and ensure safety and quality guidelines are followed.
• Act as senior liaison for operational interface with customer representatives.
• Ensure deadlines are met per customer requirements.
• Manage workload distribution and staffing levels.
• Ensure productive job completion within budget and proper documentation.
• Perform quality checks and assist with on-site project walks and as-built drawings.
• Serve as main on-site customer contact and attend meetings as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and monitor operational processes for efficiency.
• Lead operations meetings and training sessions.
• Manage tool and truck inventory and maintenance.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
