Job summary

IES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services to a variety of end markets, including electrical, mechanical and communications contracting solutions for commercial, industrial, residential and renewable energy sectors.

We seek a General Superintendent to oversee large projects, manage staffing, safety, quality, and financial performance, and serve as the main on-site customer contact. This role requires extensive travel and on-site leadership across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum three years as Lead Communications Technician or equivalent.
• Minimum five years’ experience in telecommunications or related field.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, manage and discipline staff on project.
• Act as senior liaison with customer representatives on site.
• Plan for project profitability and monitor budgets and cost reporting.
• Ensure deadlines and quality standards are met per customer requirements.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies.
