Job summary

IES Communications seeks a seasoned Superintendent to lead large, complex projects onsite, ensuring safety, quality, and financial performance while meeting staffing and material objectives. The role requires strong leadership to coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress, and maintain customer satisfaction through clear communication and rigorous reporting.

Responsibilities include driving profitability, managing budgets, controlling change orders, and ensuring timely closeout.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Lead Communications Technician or similar position.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, hires, trains, manages, supervises, and disciplines project staff per policy.
• Acts as the senior liaison for operational interface with customer representatives.
• Plans, monitors, and maintains project profitability to achieve company goals.
• Ensures that deadlines are met per customer requirements.
• Manages workload distribution and staffing levels; monitors progress for delivery and installation.
• Reviews job cost postings for accuracy, including invoicing, collections, and reporting.
• Completes all project paperwork accurately and on time; ensures all closing packages meet standards.
• Performs quality checks and onsite safety/quality assurance activities.
• Serves as main on-site customer contact and attends meetings as required.
