Job summary

IES Communications is seeking a Superintendent to act as the overall on-site manager of large and complex projects, ensuring work is developed, implemented, installed, and managed in accordance with company requirements including safety, quality, and financial performance.

You will recruit, train, and supervise project staff; manage safety, scheduling, budgeting, and customer liaison to achieve on-time delivery and profitability while maintaining quality and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Lead Communications Technician or similar position.
• Six+ years of experience required; High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, hires, trains, manages, supervises, promotes, disciplines, and discharges project-related staff.
• Effectively manages all human resource issues per Company policies and procedures.
• Plans for, manages, monitors, and maintains project profitability to achieve Company goals.
• Serves as main on-site customer contact for questions and/or concerns; attends facility and construction meetings as required.
• Reviews job cost postings for accuracy and completeness; handles invoices and financial reporting.
