Job summary

IES is seeking a Superintendent to oversee medium to large projects on-site. You will ensure all contracted work aligns with safety, quality, and financial goals while maintaining staffing, materials, and customer delivery targets. Travel to branch/region as needed.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory/lead experience in telecommunications or related fields, with strong MS Office skills and the ability to manage end-to-end project tasks and budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years’ supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience as Lead Communications Technician or similar position.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
• Must be proficient with a computer and be skilled with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
• Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
• Must have demonstrated ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, create an estimate, develop detailed tasks and manage to final completion.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise staff and HR issues per Company policies.
• Act as senior liaison for operational interface with customer representatives.
• Plan for, manage, monitor and maintain project profitability to achieve Company goals.
• Ensure deadlines are met per customer requirements.
• Manage workload distribution and staffing levels; monitor progress.
• Review job cost postings, invoices, collections and financial reporting.
• Complete job paperwork and closeout; ensure quality and safety.
