Job summary

IES is seeking a Superintendent to manage medium to large projects on site. You will direct staffing, safety, quality, and financial performance to meet customer and company goals.

Role requires heavy coordination, cost control, and on-site leadership, with travel as needed. 4-6 years in related roles and a college education are expected, along with proficiency in MS Office and telecom tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supervisory/managerial experience.
• 3+ years as Lead Communications Technician or similar.
• 5+ years in telecommunications or related field.
• Proficient with computer and MS Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
• Meet company minimum driving standards.
• Ability to define project scope, estimates and tasks for turnover.
• Experience with listed trade tools.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and supervise project staff; mentor as needed.
• Liaise with customer representatives as senior interface.
• Plan, monitor and maintain project profitability and deadlines.
• Manage workload, staffing levels and progress toward delivery.
• Review job costs, invoices and financial reporting.
• Ensure safety, quality and compliance on site.
• Complete project paperwork and closeout documentation.
