Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a Project Manager in Massachusetts to lead traffic/transportation projects, oversee design and bidding documents, and mentor a multidisciplinary team. This role requires strong client communication and adherence to MassDOT processes.

You will direct traffic modeling (Synchro, PTV Vissim), signaling design, and budget management, while fostering relationships with municipalities and agencies across the Northeast Division. Salary includes annual bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering is required.
• 8+ years in traffic/transportation engineering with modeling, studies, design and PM.
• Strong knowledge of traffic study standards (MassDOT submission).
• Experience with traffic modeling and signaling design.

Responsibilities

• Lead study preparation, design, and bid documents for traffic projects.
• Provide technical direction on traffic models, signaling design, and project management.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and project progress.
• Present to clients and the public.
• Mentor staff and manage workloads.
