Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to lead traffic engineering projects across roadway and multimodal solutions. You will supervise studies, coordinate design and bid documents, and mentor a team while ensuring on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes client relations, budgeting, and collaboration with municipalities. A PE license in MA is preferred or anticipated within a year, with sign-on bonus eligibility and strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in civil or transportation engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in traffic/transportation engineering, models, studies, design and project management.
• Professional Engineering License in Massachusetts or ability to attain reciprocity within one year.
• PTOE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct studies, design and bid documents for traffic projects addressing Complete Streets needs.
• Provide technical direction on traffic analysis models and signal design.
• Maintain project budgets, schedules and progress.
• Present effectively at meetings with clients and the public.
• Mentor staff, manage workloads, and resolve issues.
• Prepare project scopes and budgets for proposals and contracts.
• Maintain communication with municipalities and regional agencies.
• Build and nurture client relationships to generate opportunities.
