Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Principal Transportation Project Manager in Phoenix, AZ to lead multi-disciplinary teams from development to close-out.

You will manage assignments of various sizes and complexities, drive deliverables, and coordinate client meetings to align scope with budget and timeline. The role requires a PE license, a bachelor’s in engineering, and 15 years related experience, with at least 7 years in PM.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
Minimum of 15 years related experience.
At least 7 years project management experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license recognized by licensing board.
MS Office and MS Project experience required; Access is a plus.
Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills.
Active participation in employee-owned culture is required.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle.
Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently.
Establish client relations and participate in meetings (marketing, contractual, design, production).
Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders.
Coordinate staffing and workload to meet schedule and budget.
Track financials and adjust work effort to meet budget and schedule.
