Job summary

HDR is seeking a Principal Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs within the Transportation group. You will advise clients, guide planning and execution, and oversee complex projects with a focus on safety, schedule, and budget.

Preferred candidates hold advanced certifications and have 10+ years of program management experience, including large-scale transportation initiatives. This role requires travel and on-site leadership across multiple HDR locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field required.
• Professional licenses: PE/P.Eng, PMP, PgMP, AICP, or CCM.
• 10+ years of program management experience with 4+ years as a Senior Program Manager.
• Experience delivering programs with capital value >= $500M.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects.
• Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of program execution across multiple disciplines.
• Identify risks and provide strategic guidance and resource deployment.
• Develop plans and processes to drive efficiency, accountability, and transparency.
• Ensure contract compliance and manage program governance and QA/QC.
