Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Texas seeks a Senior Roads & Highways Project Manager to lead roadway design teams on diverse highway projects. You will oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and client communications, coordinating with design staff, regulators, and clients such as TxDOT and local agencies. The ideal candidate has a BS/MS in Civil Engineering with 10+ years in highway design and strong financial and team management skills.

A TX P.E. license is required or in process; PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS and/or MS in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Must have highway/roadway design and project management experience.
• Knowledge of Schematic and/or PS&E processes is essential.
• P.E. license in TX is required.
• Project Manager Professional a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Execution of procured transportation projects by leading engineering design and coordinating with design staff and clients.
• Schedule and coordinate project meetings with the team, regulatory agencies, the client, and others involved.
• Manage project production by tracking manhours, costs, and expenses, and report progress to senior management.
• Identify new roadway opportunities and present to clients, marketing firm's capabilities.
• Coordinate contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors and draft complex agreements.
