AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Austin, TX to lead roadway design teams on complex transportation programs. You will manage client communications, coordinate production, and oversee budgets and schedules to deliver projects safely and on time.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years of engineering experience, TXDOT roadway design, and a TX P.E. license. The role emphasizes leadership, risk management and professional development within a client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering.
• 12+ years of engineering experience.
• TxDOT highway/roadway design experience required.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Knowledge of Project Development, Schematic and PS&E processes is essential.
• P.E. license in TX is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design teams on transportation projects and coordinate with design staff.
• Schedule and coordinate project meetings with project team, regulatory agencies, client and others.
• Monitor project progression including costs, manhours, and status to senior management.
• Coordinate and participate in contract negotiations with consultants and subcontractors; draft complex professional service agreements.
• Direct project team and client compliance with contract terms and manage subcontractor commitments.
• Prepare work plans, scopes, schedules, budgets and monitor production for schedule, budget and quality.
