Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Austin, TX to lead transportation design teams across roadway projects. The role includes client interaction, scheduling, budgeting, and directing production to meet quality and schedule targets.

Must have 12+ years in engineering with TxDOT roadway design experience and 5+ years in project management; P.E. license in TX required. Excellent interpersonal and financial management skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering.
• 12+ years of engineering experience.
• Must have TxDOT highway/roadway design experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience
• P.E. license in TX is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute procured transportation projects by leading engineering design and coordinating with design staff.
• Schedule and coordinate project meetings with project team, regulatory agencies, client, and others.
• Manage project production by tracking manhours, costs and expenses and communicating progress to senior management.
• Coordinate and participate in contract negotiations with consultants and subcontractors and draft complex service agreements.
• Direct project team and client compliance with contract terms and monitor subcontractors' compliance.
• Prepare project work plan, scope, schedule, and budget and communicate to team; monitor production for schedule, budget and quality.
