AtkinsRéalis in Texas is seeking a Senior Roads & Highways Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary roadway design teams on diverse transportation projects. You will manage scope, schedule, budget and client communications, while mentoring team members and coordinating with stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of engineering experience in highway/roadway design, with a strong PM background, knowledge of PS&E and Schematic processes, and a TX P.E.

license. DOT experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Must have highway/roadway design and project management experience.
• Knowledge of Schematic and/or PS&E processes is essential.
• P.E. license in TX is required.
• Project Manager Professional a plus but not required.
• DOT experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design and coordinate with staff on project components.
• Schedule and coordinate project meetings with client and regulators.
• Manage project production: track manhours, costs and progress to seniors.
• Identify roadway/highway opportunities and present to clients.
• Assist in consultant selection and qualification statements.
• Negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors and draft agreements.
• Direct project team and ensure compliance with contract terms and milestones.
• Prepare work plans, scopes, schedules, budgets and monitor progress.
