Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Texas is seeking a Senior Roads & Highways Project Manager to lead roadway design teams on transportation projects. You will oversee production, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and client interactions while mentoring junior staff.

The ideal candidate holds a BS or MS in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of engineering experience with highway/roadway design, a TX P.E. license, and strong leadership and financial management skills.

Qualifications

• BS and/or MS in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Must have highway/roadway design and project management experience.
• P.E. license in TX is required.
• Project Manager Professional a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of Schematic and/or PS&E processes is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design for procured transportation projects.
• Coordinate design staff and project components with client interactions.
• Schedule and run project meetings with teams and regulators.
• Manage project production: manhours, costs, and progress reporting.
• Identify new roadway opportunities and present to clients.
• Draft complex professional service agreements and negotiate with clients/subcontractors.
• Direct project team to meet schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
