Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Senior Project Manager in Austin, TX to lead roadway design teams on diverse transportation projects. You will manage client communications, budgets, schedules and team coordination to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires 12+ years in engineering, TxDOT roadway experience, and a TX P.E. license, with strong leadership and financial management abilities to drive projects from development through PS&E.

Qualifications

• BS and/or MS in Civil Engineering.
• 12+ years of engineering experience.
• TxDOT highway/roadway design experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• P.E. license in TX.
• Direct knowledge of Project Development, Schematic and PS&E processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and technical skills.
• Strong project financial management and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design teams on transportation projects.
• Schedule and coordinate project meetings with teams, agencies, and clients.
• Track hours, costs and expenses; report progress to senior management.
• Coordinate contracts with consultants/subcontractors and draft agreements.
• Direct project team and ensure compliance with contract terms and budgets.
• Develop and communicate project work plans, scope, schedule, and budget.
