Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Texas seeks a Senior Roadway Engineer/Task Lead to manage roadway design teams on highway projects. You will apply technical expertise, mentor staff, and deliver projects across multiple business units with growth opportunities.

The role requires a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering, 7+ years’ highway design experience, TX P.E., and proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoad Designer; AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus. This is an on-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• BS and/or MS in Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• Must have highway/roadway design experience.
• P.E. license in TX is required.
• MicroStation, Open Road Designer.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D recommended but not required.

Responsibilities

• Applies standard engineering practices and techniques in specific situations.
• Assists in planning, design, and production of engineering drawings; may supervise production.
• Performs data collection and analysis for design feasibility.
• Prepares sections of reports under supervision of experienced professionals.
• Reviews shop drawings and assists in recordkeeping and progress reporting.
• Performs field observations of construction when appropriate.
