Job summary

HDR is seeking a Principal Project Manager to lead the most complex infrastructure programs in transportation. You will guide multidisciplinary teams and advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects to deliver safe, resilient and innovative mobility solutions.

Expect high-visibility leadership, a focus on planning, governance, risk management, and value delivery across large programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Sciences, Planning or related field.
• Professional licensure/certifications: PE/P.Eng, PMP, PgMP, AICP, or CCM preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of program management experience with 4+ years as Senior PM.
• Experience leading three or more programs each valued at $500M+
• Strong leadership, collaboration across disciplines, and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial and community aspects.
• Plan, direct, and monitor program execution across many disciplines.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation, and provide strategic guidance.
• Develop program management plans, startup plans, and governance processes.
