Job summary

HDR is seeking a seasoned Principal Project Manager to lead some of our largest and most complex transportation programs. You will advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community facets, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and drive program governance, scheduling, and risk management across major projects.

You’ll participate in leadership discussions with HDR’s Transportation Leadership team and shape project delivery for iconic infrastructure programs nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Sciences, Planning, Business Administration or a closely related field.
• Licenses/certifications: PE/P.Eng, PMP, PgMP, AICP or CCM.
• Ten years of program management experience; four+ years as a Senior Program Manager; led three+ programs with $500M+ each.
• Experience with alternative delivery methods (DB, PDB, CMAR) and integrated PMO collaboration.
• Willingness to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects of programs.
• Plan, direct, and monitor program execution across many disciplines.
• Identify risks and provide strategic guidance and solutions.
• Develop program management plans, startup and work plans, and governance.
