Job summary

Marsh Agency is seeking a Senior Client Manager for its Business Insurance department focused on Transportation clients. You will partner with the sales team to manage high-level relationships, drive retention, and identify growth opportunities, delivering strategic risk solutions and proactive program management.

You will mentor, train, and develop through mentorship and resources, building a career path in high-level client service with logistics industry focus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial insurance account management experience with a focus on trucking/transportation risks.
• Active P&C license; STAR and TRIP designations are preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of transportation coverages and risk transfer (auto liability, cargo, GL, contingent coverages).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day client relationships and Transportation accounts, delivering high-level service and strategic risk solutions.
• Coordinate and produce insurance proposals, stewardship reports, analytics, and client deliverables.
• Support renewals in a challenging transportation market, handling pricing pressure and program structures.
• Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system and ensure data integrity.
• Identify and pursue up-sell and cross-sell opportunities with the sales/service team.
• Provide exceptional customer service and translate transportation operations into underwriting-ready submissions.
