Job summary

BKF Engineers is seeking a Senior Construction Manager/Owner's representative in California to oversee bridge, roadway, and civil construction projects, ensuring conformance with contract documents and QA/QC. The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience and a California PE license.

You will lead staff, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate with inspectors and clients, review change orders, and prepare project documentation. Travel to BKF locations and client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering is required.
• California Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 8+ years of construction contract management experience on roadways/bridges.

Responsibilities

• Oversee civil construction projects to ensure conformance with contract documents.
• Perform quality control and quality assurance for projects.
• Manage professional and technical staff and contract administration.
• Review change orders, shop drawings, materials testing, and surveying activities.
• Prepare progress and final documentation in accordance with highway requirements.
