Job summary

BKF Engineers, Inc. seeks an experienced Owner's representative for bridge, roadway and civil construction projects, ensuring work complies with contract documents and quality standards across California and beyond.

You will lead project teams, coordinate inspections, review change orders, manage budgets and schedules, and prepare documentation for state and federal highway programs. Travel to BKF locations and client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years construction contract management experience on roadways or bridges.
• California registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required.
• Knowledge of CALTRANS/local agency projects and coordination on federally funded projects is desirable.
• Ability to effectively manage people and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Owner's representative on bridge, roadway and civil construction projects.
• Ensure projects are built in accordance with contract documents and quality standards.
• Lead project teams, coordinate inspections, and review change orders.
• Prepare progress and final documentation for State and Federal requirements.
• Manage scopes, budgets, and schedules to maintain profitability.
