Job summary

BKF Engineers seeks a senior Construction Manager to serve as the Owner's professional representative on bridge, roadway, and civil construction projects. You will ensure work aligns with contract documents and quality standards.

Leading a team, you’ll oversee QA/QC, contract administration, and profitability while coordinating with inspectors, clients, and agencies. A CA PE and 7+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Over 7 years of construction contract management experience on roadway/bridge projects.
• California-registered Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Ability to manage professional and technical staff and contract administration.
• Working knowledge of CALTRANS/local agency projects and coordination on Federally funded projects desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Owner's representative on bridge, roadway, and civil construction projects.
• Ensure projects are built in accordance with contract documents and meet QA/QC standards.
• Manage staff, contract administration, and project profitability; review change orders and shop drawings.
• Prepare progress and final documentation for state and federal highway requirements.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate with inspectors and clients.
